Dhulikhel is one of the more famous spots from which to watch the high Himalaya. From the edge of the edge, a staggering scene of tops unfolds, from Langtang Lirung in the east, through Dorje Lakpa to the tremendous main part of Gauri Shankar and close-by Melungtse (7181m) and the extent that Numbur (5945m) in the east.
There’s something else entirely to Dhulikhel than stunning perspectives however. This is a genuine Newari town, with a sanctuary lined town square and an existence outside of presenting vacationers to the perspectives.
